প্রাচীন ভারতবর্ষের বিবাহ পদ্ধতি ( Marriage System of Ancient India)   বি বাহ বা বিয়ের বর্তমানের পদ্ধতি বললে বাঙালি সমাজের প্রথম মনে আসে - যদিদং হৃদয়ং তব , তদস্তু হৃদয়ং মম। যদিদং হৃদয়ং মম , তদস্তু হৃদয়ং তব। এর অর্থ হলোঃ যেখানে হৃদয় তোমার , সেখানে হৃদয় আমার।   যেখানে হৃদয় আমার , সেখানে হৃদয় তোমার। এই মন্ত্র উচ্চারণ এর মধ্যে দিয়ে স্বামী - স্ত্রীর মধ্যে গভীর সম্পর্ক গড়ে ওঠে। একে অপরের প্রতি সমভাব , আপন করে নেওয়া , একে অপরের দায় দায়িত্ব গ্রহণ করা এবং জন্ম - জন্মান্তরের বন্ধনে আবদ্ধতা স্বীকার করে নেওয়া।   যদিও বিবাহ প্রাচীনকাল থেকেই পৃথিবীর সকল জাতিগোষ্ঠী ও সম্প্রদায়ের মধ্যে বিদ্যমান। কিন্ত এই একই প্রকার বিবাহ রীতি সব সমাজে নেই। ধর্মীয় , অর্থনৈতিক , সাংস্কৃতিক ও পরিবেশগত পার্থক্যের জন্য বিভিন্ন জাতিগোষ্ঠী ও সম্প্রদায়ের মধ্যে বিবাহ পদ্ধতিও আলাদা হয়।   বিভিন্ন তথ্য থেকে জানা যায় প্রাচীনকালে ভারতবর্ষে   বিভিন্ন প্রকারের বিবাহ পদ্ধ...
